FURNAS is involved in electrical energy generation, transmission and sales and manages facilities in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Paraná, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Tocantins, Rondônia, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Ceará, Bahia and the Federal District.
