Governance

The FURNAS corporate governance policies and practices focus on management transparency, respectful relations with all stakeholders, fair treatment and in clear and objective accountability, always in accordance with the Code of Ethics.

Code of Ethics
and Integrity

Improvements in corporate governance are warranted by a management, practice and operational structure that follows everything established in the Company's Organizational Manual, including the Bylaws, Internal Regulations and Organizational Policies and Standards. The document also includes guidelines for the Internal Committees that support the Executive Board and attributions applied to the organizational structure.

This model clearly establishes the roles and responsibilities of the Board of Directors and the Executive Board in preparing, approving and enforcing the policies and guidelines that rule the company’s operations, including the responsibilities of the Fiscal Council.
